Question
hello... I'm trying to figure out Russian Keyboard set-up. If the English letter,i, is the equivalent to Russian,я, then why is the keyboard sticker put on the letter,z, ? I'm want to type in English as now, but want it to come out in Russian. Am i thinking the wrong way? Thanks for any help on this.
Answer
Hello! The problem is that the Russian alphabet has 33 letters, and the English one, 26 letters, so it means that not all the letters coincide. There are more Russian stickers than English letters, not all Russian letters and sounds have English equivalents.
