Question
I've seen both в 90-ые годы and в 90-ых годах used and I'm not sure if there is any difference between the two - perhaps you could clarify. Many thanks.
Answer
Hello John,
They are synonyms. В 90-е годы is probably more used in written speech, and в 90-х годах, in colloquial speech.
