Meanings of the Verb водиться

Did you know that the Russian verb водиться has two different meanings? The first meaning is “to live somewhere (normally about animals)”, “to be found”, and the second one is “to keep company (normally speaking about children)”. There is also the expression как водится which means “as usual”.

For example,

В России водятся тигры. Tigers live in Russia.

Я не буду с ним водиться. I will not be his friend.
