Russian Augmentative Suffix ищ

Did you know that in the Russian language there are augmentative and diminutive suffixes? One of the most used augmentative suffixes is the suffix -ищ. Surprisingly enough, when we add to to masculine nouns, they become neutral.

For example,

Дом – домище: house – a very big house

Книга – книжища: Book – a very big book

Окно – окнище: Window – a big window
