Russian Expressions that Mean “What’s happened?”

Did you know we have several expressions that mean “What’s happened?”.

• Что случилось? is the most common expression. It is used with the Instrumental case, Что с тобой случилось? What’s happened to you.
• Что с тобой (с ним, с ней, с ними, с вами)? What’s wrong with you?  It is also quite common. It is used when you can see that something strange is happening to the person.
• Что стряслось? What’s happened? It is a colloquial expression.
