Russian Prepositional and Accusative case with the Preposition “O”

Did you know that we can use the preposition o with the Prepositional and also with the Accusative case? In the Prepositional case, as you probably already know, it is used in the sense of “about”. In the Accusative case it is used with the verbs “hit something”, “stumble over sonething”, etc.

For example,

Ты рассказывал мне об этом фильме.
You told me about this film.

Эта книга о войне.
It is a book about war.

Я ударился об стол.
I hit the table,
