Russian Verbs of Motion and Public Transport

Did you know that sometimes we use the verb идти-ходить and not ехать-ездить when we speak about public transport? It happens when we mean its route and sсhedule.

For example,

Автобус ходит каждые 10 минут от окраины до центра города. The bus tuns every 10 minutes from the outskirts to the centre of the town.

Автобус ездит очень быстро. The bus moves very fast.
