Russian Word уже

Did you know that the Russian word уже́ can be both an adverb of time or a participle depending on the context? We refer to уже́ as an adverb when it helps us to say that something has already happened. It becomes a participle when it is used to emphasize the meaning of another word. 

For example,

Ты спрашивал уже сто раз! You have already asked me a hundred times! – participle

Иди сюда скорее, фильм уже начался! Come here, the movie has already started! – adverb
