Two Different Ways of Saying “About” in Russian

Did you know that there are two different ways of saying “about something” in Russian? The first preposition used is о with the Prepositional case and the second one is про with the Accusative case. Про is normally used in colloquial speech.

For example,

Я вчера читал статью о реформах в России.
I read an article about the reforms in Russia yesterday.

Я вчера читал газета про реформы в России.
I read an article about the reforms in Russia yesterday.
