Yulia is a diligent, interested and accomplished teacher. Working as a translator and teacher myself, it´s easy to see just how prepared, bighearted, and engaged she is. She very intently contributes to her students´ growth. There is a great assortment of interesting resources she kindly makes available on Russificate, as well as constant posts on language and culture and new exercises. By the replies on her page, I know I´m not the only student advancing. She is, indeed, very considerate and devoted to this project. Having family roots in Russia, I´m very glad Yulia is helping me better understand part of my cultural heritage. She´s been teaching me for about six months, and I think of her as a friend already. I find her truly inspiring.

Natalia is a terrific teacher who has helped me a lot to improve my Russian. I studied Russian many years ago and have used it only passively -- reading and translating, but speaking very little and writing almost not at all. That means that my recollection of grammar and retention of vocabulary leave a lot to be desired. Natalia is very good at figuring out what I am trying to say, even when many of the words I use are wrong! She is patient, but also concentrates very well on steering our discussions in a focused way, so that I do not lose sight of the grammatical point we are working on. It has been very helpful to me to have the discipline of a weekly one-hour class, to force myself to work hard and do the homework.

Hello! My name is Eduardo and I’m from Barcelona. I learned Russian in Moscow from my teacher, Alexandra. In my opinion, Alexandra’s best qualities as a teacher are her complete devotion to her work and her attentiveness towards her students. I feel much more positively about my studies, better than ever before, due to the way Alexandra answers all my questions with politeness and precision. She is an excellent worker and a wonderful teacher.
