Comparative Construction чем… тем

Did you know that the Russian equivalent of the comparative construction the (more, easier, better…), the (more, better, harder, etc.) is чем (+comparative adjective), тем (+comparative adjective)?

For example,

Чем больше мы работаем, тем больше устаём. The more we work, the more we feel tired.

Чем лучше качество товара, тем он дороже. The better the quality of goods is, the more expensive they are.
