Did you know that there are several expressions that are used when mentioning a well-known information in Russian? These expressions are общеизвестно, как известно, как все хорошо знают.

For example,

Общеизвестно, что у дельфинов высокий интеллект. It is well known that dolphins are highly intelligent.

Как известно, суши это традиционное японское блюдо. As you know, sushi is a traditional Japanese dish.
