Work experience

Since 2010 Alyona has been working as a Russian tutor of Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

She currently teaches Russian Language and Literature as a senior tutor at the preparatory faculty of Pushkin Institute. She has extensive experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Upon completion of the preparatory course, her students successfully pass the Test of Russian as a Foreign Language at the first level (TRKI-1) and can continue their education in Russian universities.

Simultaneously with her main job, Alyona taught Russian to the General Councilor of the Department of Economic Affairs of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow ( ), as well as to the other employees of the Embassy (2012 – 2013).

She has also given private Russian lessons to Korean and Japanese employees of Samsung ( and ROSNO (

Alyona worked as a home teacher for children of the cultural attaché of the Colombian Embassy in Moscow ( She taught Russian Language and Literature, Geography and History of Russia (2013-2015)

Additionally, she taught a Russian language course for teachers of the school at the Iranian Embassy (2015-2017).

In 2017, Alyona also taught a short Russian course for the Ambassador of Mexico to the Russian Federation (

In 2019, Alyona was sent by the Pushkin Institute to the University of Havana in Cuba to work at the Russian Language Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Alyona is also a methodologist at the international volunteer program “Ambassadors of the Russian Language” under the auspices of the Council for the Russian Language under the Government of Russian Federation (http://послыря.рф).

Since 2018, Alyona has been conducting methodological seminars on the methodology of teaching Russian Language and Literature at advanced training courses in countries such as Serbia, Croatia, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan.

In 2019, she took part in the International Book Fair in Calcutta, India, where she conducted a short Russian language course for visitors of the Russian pavilion.

She is a member of a team of teachers from Russia, India and Israel who achieved second place in the category of “Best online development in the field of Russian as a foreign language” as part of the “Russian Speech – 2020” competition.

Alyona is the author of methodological articles on the topic of teaching Russian Language and Literature, the formation of socio-cultural competence, and the use of innovative technologies in teaching, among other topics.
