Question
I'm not sure if this is a common thing or if it's just me.
I have been learning Russian through several apps for 4 months now and have learned over 500 words.
I know all of them and can spell them easily without any issues. I can form very basic sentences too.
My problem is recalling words when I need them, I go blank and random words pop into my head but not the ones I need to use. This is very frustrating.
Without being in an environment where I can use a new language daily, how can I recall words on demand?

Hello Brett,
It is better not to learn words without context. The better way to remember the words in reading, writing, listening and speaking. We would recommend you to buy a textbook because it includes all these aspects.
